MS in Civil Engineering
The Master of Science in Civil Engineering was the first degree offered online by the College. It set the bar for how to offer a degree online while maintaining the highest quality of education. This program will deepen your understanding of the problems that today’s engineers must solve using ingenuity, expertise, and sound judgment.

Courses include Hazardous Waste Management, Transportation Planning and Operation, Foundation Engineering, Bridge Design, Earthquake Engineering, and Open and Closed Hydraulics.
MS in Electrical Engineering
The Master of Science in Electrical Engineering program maintains a balance between theory and application. The program stresses modern engineering methods for the solution of detailed and complex problems. With areas of specialty in multimedia, wireless communication, and radar systems, the program emphasizes the concepts of analysis and design coupled with ethical engineering judgment.

Courses include Introduction to Photonics, Digital Signal Processing, Multimedia Systems, and Matrix Theory.
MS in Mechanical Engineering
The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering program provides the depth in theory that is essential to a graduate degree but also stays based in practice for the working engineer. This relevant, well-rounded program gives you a complete look at contemporary mechanical engineering topics. You will be taught by renowned experts in area such as controls, heat transfer, and materials.

Courses include Finite Elements, Control, Computer Manufacturing, Numerical Control and Robotic Applications, and Computational Fluid Mechanics.
MS in Sustainable Engineering

The Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering is designed to be a multi-disciplinary M.S. degree that can be undertaken either as a full-time or part-time option, and with or without a thesis option. In addition, a set of the core courses along with electives can be used to create a Sustainable Engineering certificate.

Core courses are enhanced by your selection of technical track. Choose from Alternative and Renewable Energy Technology, Watershed Sustainability, Environmental Sustainability or Sustainable Infrastructure and Built Environment.

MS in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering
The Master of Science in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering program provides two paths. For environmental engineers, the program concentrates on the treatment and disposal of traditional and hazardous contaminate wastes. For water resources engineers, the program concentrates on surface and groundwater hydrology, and stormwater management. The program maintains a balance between theory and application and stresses modern engineering methods for the solution of detailed and complex problems.

Courses include Water Resource Planning Management, Open Channel Hydraulics, Principles of Sustainable Development for Industry and Society, Watershed Modeling, and Urban Hydrology & Storm Water Management.
Certificate Programs
Graduate certificates offer the benefit of specialization without requiring the completion of a master’s degree. A certificate may be taken alongside a degree program or unaccompanied as a career enhancer. Certificate programs consist of four or five courses and can be completed 100% online. The courses also count toward a full master’s degree, should you decide to pursue one at a later time.

Certificate programs are offered in various areas of expertise, including
  • Biochemical Engineering
  • Urban Water Resources Design
  • High Frequency Systems
  • Wireless and Digital Communications
  • Communication Systems Engineering
  • Machinery Dynamics
  • Thermofluid Systems
